Many Cleveland Indians fans still refer to the baseball stadium, now with naming rights owned by Progressive insurance, as “The Jake”.  Jacob’s Field, named after the owner at the time Richard Jacobs, was the prize jewel of Cleveland’s renaissance in the mid 90’s. The jake was home to 455 straight home game sellouts from 1995-2001.  Cut from birch plywood, and finished with American wood stain, this piece highlights the large “toothbrush” like lighting fixtures and the now retired Cleveland Indians “chief wahoo” logo.
